A generous act of kindness from the West Cumberland Avenue Baptist Church youth group recently blessed Appalachian Children’s Home (ACH). The church's young members took the initiative to assemble thoughtful gift bags filled with special treats and essentials for the children at ACH. Each bag was carefully prepared with love, aiming to bring smiles and joy to the kids in care.

The effort was not only a wonderful expression of compassion from the church but also a demonstration of the positive impact that faith-based partnerships can have on the lives of children. The bags, filled with fun items and practical supplies, were designed to make each child feel valued and supported.

A special thank you goes to ACH Therapist Brooklyn Mills, who played a vital role in coordinating this effort. Brooklyn worked closely with the church’s youth group, ensuring that the children’s needs were met and that the distribution of the bags went smoothly. Her dedication to the well-being of the kids, both through her therapeutic role and beyond, shines through in moments like these.

ACH is grateful for the continued support from community partners like West Cumberland Avenue Baptist Church. Their thoughtful contributions serve as reminders that the collective efforts of compassionate individuals can make a significant difference in the lives of children. Thank you to the church’s youth group and Brooklyn for making this initiative a heartwarming success!
