Bluegrass Foster Services (BFS) recently brought joy to the community with its annual Fall Festival, a fun-filled event that celebrated the season with games, treats, and festive activities. Held at New Hope Church of God in Corbin, the festival was packed with smiling faces, colorful costumes, and autumn decorations, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children, foster families, staff, and volunteers.
Children arrived in creative costumes ranging from superheroes to adorable animals, adding excitement and a sense of magic to the day. Plenty of activities exist, including face painting, sack races, pumpkin decorating, and carnival-style games.
BFS ensured that the event was entertaining and a moment for families to connect and build relationships. The festival provided foster children and families a space to create lasting memories in a supportive, community-driven environment. It was also a chance for BFS to show appreciation to the incredible foster parents who continually go above and beyond for the children in their care.
The day was rounded off with delicious seasonal treats, from caramel apples to warm cider, keeping everyone fueled for the fun. As children left with bags full of candy and hearts full of joy, it was clear that the Fall Festival was a success, bringing both laughter and a sense of community to all who attended.
Bluegrass Foster Services extends a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make the Fall Festival possible—from volunteers and donors to staff and families. Events like these highlight the spirit of togetherness and the positive impact we can make when we come together for our children.
