Mike Addison, President of Appalachian Children’s Home (ACH), and his wife, April, recently attended the inaugural Faith Summit hosted by the National Faith Advisory Board (NFAB). The event, which was invitation-only, brought together many of the nation’s leading evangelical voices, emphasizing the crucial role of faith in today’s society.

Held in Peachtree, GA, the summit aimed to foster dialogue and collaboration among faith leaders, policymakers, and community advocates. Mike and April represented ACH at the summit, using this valuable opportunity to share insights on the intersection of faith and service, particularly in foster care and children's advocacy.

The event was a significant milestone for NFAB, featuring a nationwide gathering of pastors, ministry leaders, and advocates. In addition to various discussions on pressing issues facing the faith community, the summit was attended by notable leaders, including former President Donald Trump. His presence underscored the importance of the event and its focus on engaging faith-based initiatives to address societal challenges.

The National Faith Advisory Board’s mission is to unify and empower the faith community to make a meaningful impact nationwide. The event allowed the Addisons and other attendees to discuss collaborative efforts to expand faith-based support networks for children, families, and communities in need.

Mike and April expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate, highlighting how such events inspire and enhance their ongoing work at ACH. As leaders deeply rooted in faith, they are committed to integrating their beliefs into practical service that uplifts and supports the lives of children and families.

ACH remains dedicated to fostering meaningful relationships and pursuing collaborative efforts that align with its mission to provide compassionate care for children. The insights and connections gained at the Faith Summit will benefit ACH’s ongoing efforts to make a positive, faith-driven impact.
