Welcome to the Appalachian Children's Home! The Home is situated on a beautiful one hundred fifty-eight acre campus on the outskirts of Barbourville, Kentucky.

The Children's Home is a state licensed institution and emergency shelter for boys and girls under the age of eighteen. Our staff are regularly trained and educated to meet or exceed the strict guidelines set forth by the State of Kentucky. Our Home strives to provide the best possible care availabe for the children placed in our custody.

The staff and board of directors are dedicated to achieve excellence while providing a stable, loving Christian environment for the well-being of the whole child. Over one hundred churches, businesses, and individuals who have a heart for the safety and well-being of children support the Children's Home.
